SECOND: Download Wacom's Intuos3 drivers from their site. Here's the order I did everything and it worked perfectly: FIRST - Download UC-Logic drivers from their site. After you've done that restart your computer and you should be good to go. You don't need to do anything else with the software, you just need to have it on your computer so Adobe sees it and activates the extra settings. So what you need to do is go to Wacom's site and download the drivers for the Intuos3.

After some internet research I discovered that Adobe built Illustrator so that it requires Wacom drivers to be on the computer in order to activate the pressure settings. While the pressure sensitivity worked perfectly in Photoshop, I could not get it to work in Illustrator. *** EDIT:*** I've been using it a few more days and I still love it, but now I have a couple more things to add:ġ. I may have noticed some jumpiness, but honestly that was probably because I was using it like a spaz trying to get used to it. It's very responsive and I'm already impressed with how it works in Illustrator CS6. I bought the tablet as an entry level tablet for graphic design work (I'm a student). Totally workable, but I imagine it'll take more practice to get used to it than it would a larger model since this is my first tablet. It definitely has a learning curve, especially because the tablet is a bit smaller than - well it's just kind of small. I just got the tablet this evening but I'm already enjoying it very much.
